State of .NET – Spring 2010
Yesterday we presented our first State of .NET event of the year, starting out in Dallas (with an event in Houston following tomorrow). This time, the event focuses on the following topics:
- Visual Studio 2010
- General improvements
- Code productivity
- Languages
- ASP.NET Web Forms 4
- ASP.NET MVC 2
- jQuery
- WPF 4
- Expression Studio (4)
- Silverlight 4
- NUI and Multi-Touch (Windows 7)
- Windows Phone 7 Series
- Windows Azure
And a bunch of other details. You can download the slide deck I used in the presentation here. You can also download the WPF4 and Silverlight multi-touch examples here.
Also, Shawn Weisfeld (from INETA) was nice enough to do a high quality recording of the event. He wrote about it on his blog and embedded the videos right there. You can see his blog post.
For those of you who are interested in the Windows Phone 7 videos, visit http://www.windowsphone7series.com and check out the multi-media section. Also, check out http://live.visitmix.com/MIX10/Sessions/key01 for the Mix 2010 keynote video including Windows Phone 7 Series stuff.
